Lance Whorton - Pastor

Lance joined St Paul in July 2010 after graduating with a Masters of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky. He is a Missouri native who was living in Illinois prior to attending Asbury. He has a wonderful wife, Laurie, who is a pediatric physical therapist. Their 13 year old daughter, Jordan, loves horses, art and music. They love to spend time doing anything outdoors: go to the beach, hike, camp, bike, fish, hunt - you name it. Lance's favorite scripture is 2 Timothy 4:3-5. He has a heart for spreading God's word and is looking forward to serving God here at St Paul!

DeDe Lyle - Assistant to the Pastor, Secretary

DeDe comes to us from Gulfport, MS and has a background in law-enforcement and community relations. She and her husband, David have two children, Chris and Diana, and three grandchildren, Skylar, Hannah and Ryland. She enjoys photography, writing and spending time with her family. Her favorite scripture is 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 and her favorite quote is "If I have nothing, but have loved, then I have everything, but if I have everything, and have not loved, then I have nothing".

Dewey Barker - Music Director, Pianist

Dewey is a native of Birmingham, AL and has lived in Gulf Breeze since 2000. He is married to Libbra, our St Paul Preschool Director, and they have two sons, Ryley and Micah. He is an accomplished musician having served his first church as pianist/organist at the age of 15. Since that time, he has served as an instrumentalist and Minister of Music and/or Youth Director in churches in Alabama, Mississippi and Northwest Florida. Dewey holds a Masters degree in Clinical Psycology from Mississippi State University and a Bachelors degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama. He currently works full-time in the operating room at Gulf Breeze Hospital. Dewey joined the staff at St Paul as pianist/choir director in September 2009

Andy Strebel - Technical Ministries Director

Andy was born in Green Bay, WI and has lived in four other states across the country since then, He is married to Cary and they have five four legged fury children, Noel, Swiffer, Little Bear, Nora and Big Hoss. He has been involved with running sound or doing technical work since the age of 14. Andy is very involved in his church and various community events. Not only does he run sound on Sunday mornings he also performs duties as IT support for the computers campus wide and is our webmaster. He currently works full-time for the Jerry Pate Companies doing customer service and purchasing. Andy has been involved with the technical ministries area at St Paul since the fall of 1999.

Libbra Barker - Preschool Director

Libbra has been the St Paul Preschool Director since 2008. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Auburn University. She has also received her Preschool Director's credentials from the State of Florida. She began her career as a church school assistant and has taught Kindergarten and fourth grade at schools in Lanette and Roanoke, Alabama. Since moving to Gulf Breeze, Libbra has been working in the preschool environment as a Lead Teacher for various age groups at another local church-based school. She is married to Dewey, our choir director, and they have two sons.
